Thursday 3/1 Busy Day

Busy Day

A front came through early this morning with wind and rain. The wind was out of the north so it was a bit cold. 

We started the day off by making an appointment for the Equinox to get its oil changed. Larry was surprised when the dealer said they could get us in at 10:30 this morning. The time was perfect considering we were going to town to do errands.

Doing errands

We took the Equinox on our snow ski trip and it was filthy so the first stop was Mister Car Wash to give it a bath. We decided to do the middle wash to get the under wash, it needed the under wash because we drove it through snow and the roads had been treated with salt. The car wash did a great job. After getting the car washed we wiped it down.

The next stop was Murphy to fill the car up with gas.

Then we went to Belton to HEB to do our weekly grocery shopping. After shopping we went across the street to the UPS Store and picked up our mail.

The final stop was at Don Ringler Chevrolet for the oil change. We arrived a little early, but that was ok, they got us right in.    

After lunch I did four loads of laundry. 

Doing Laundry

We're going to Tool, Texas for their Mardi Gras weekend of square dancing. While the laundry was going I started loading up the Minnie. I also made a Chicken Black Bean Casserole but instead of chicken I used Italian sausage. 

In the evening we watched YouTube videos. I watched my weekly shows on PBS. We had a busy day but it was fun.
