| Awesome Day |
We started the day off by going to the morning High Energy Dance from 10:00 to 11:30. We had six squares of dancers. The callers Mike, Wade and Brad made the dancing challenging and fun. By the end we were glad we had an hour and half lunch break before our next session.

The next session was a Funshop from 1:00 to 3:00.We had three squares. The callers took turns calling and workshopping different moves. One time when Brad was calling Mike decided to join in our square and dance with another person as one dancer, this was a lot of fun. The afternoon was a hoot. Everyone was laughing and having a great time. After the Funshop we were lucky to have a four and a half hour break before the Mardi Gras Ball.
In the evening we went to the Mardi Gras Ball. We had seven squares of dancers and eight couples for round dancing. The Log Cabin Swingers had a Mardi Gras cake, it was half chocolate and half white, it was delicious. All weekend they had delicious cookies for snacks. We had another great night of dancing with friends. The callers did a great job and Lucy and Jerry Pate did a good job with rounds. We had an awesome day of dancing.
