Morning surprise
Larry gets up at 6:00 and reads his e-mails, news groups and groups his follows. We have security cameras around the outside of the house and a monitor at the desk. While he was reading a doe triggered our camera on the side of the house. This was 6:15 and she moved over to the neighbor's yard by the pool wall, where she gave birth to twins. I got up at 8:00 and he told me about it. The doe was a great mother, she cleaned the fawns. They were laying in grass. The fawns tried to stand up and fell back down but they didn't give up. The doe fed them and patiently waited for the fawns to get ready for them to move on. They were there for over four hours. We had to leave at 10:15 to go to our dance in Liberty Hill. The doe and fawns were a lot more stable when standing. The dow was grazing and the fawns stayed close by. When we got home they were gone. This was a special event to watch.
Mom and babies
Today we went to Liberty Hill to do our weekly C1/A2 dance at the Skis house. We met up with Henry and Susan to dance C1 to Johnny Preston on tape for an hour at 12:00. We danced four different tips on the tape and had a super time. At 1:00 the A2 session started. John Kephart showed up by himself, he usually comes with John Carlton and his wife from San Antonio. John Carlton had to get his hearing aide fixed because it broke. We were shy one person to have two squares. The dancers were very rusty so John spent most of the dance working on moves. I danced most of the dance because there were three single men and two single women so sometimes one of the men needed a partner. It was an ok dance.
We love square dancing
We got home at 4:15. We watched YouTube videos.
I played my Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Hard Road Mini of 10 games. It took me 2 hours, 2 minutes and 5 seconds, which put me in 27th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.
I played the weekly challenge of pinball, Elvira Scared Stiff. I got a new high score of 7,544,080, which put me in 31st place out of 39 participants.
In the evening we finished watching the 6th season of Elementary and started the 7th and final season. Then I watched Star Trek and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs from our movies collection. I ended up doing 13,500 steps.
