Monday 5-19-25 Dancing to Di, Housework, Jukebox Project, Diamond Painting & More

 

Happy Monday

We had a great day.

We attended Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly C1 dance at 9:00 for an hour. Di and Terry danced together while Di called five tips to 12 participants. Di did a super job of calling and cueing the dance. We had a great time dancing to Di and with friends.

Larry started the day off by working on his jukebox. He finished up his LED lights and worked on his cover plate. He stopped this project and danced with me at 9:00. After the dance he went back to the project.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Easy Street of 30 games. It took me 1 hour, 3 minutes and 54 seconds, which put me in 13th place in my group. I played Angry Birds.

Larry has been having problems with his vision. He has been to the eye doctor a couple of times in the last year. The last time was seven months ago. This afternoon he went back to the eye doctor. He has a cataract in his right eye and it moved causing his vision to be out of focus. It is too small to operate on so he may have to continue coming back until it gets big enough to operate on. In the mean time she gave him a new prescription for glasses.

After seeing the eye doctor we went next door and did a little grocery shopping at Walmart. While we were dancing Di mentioned, that Michael's grandmother died at the age of 103. That was the reason he wasn't at the dance. So after going grocery shopping we went across the street to Dollar Tree to get a card for him and to pick up some cookies.

We didn't buy all the groceries we needed so when we got home Larry put in a home delivery order from Walmart for the rest of the groceries. We received the order this evening at 7:30.

I played four games of pinball. I played Elvira Scared Stiff and got a new high score for the challenge. The score was 5,687,730, which put me in 26th place out of 30 participants. The other three were Big Bang Bar, Cactus Canyon and Black Rose. I was still having problems with Black Rose so Larry worked on it a little more. He still was having problems so I asked him to take it off the cabinet. It's a fun game but we have plenty more games.

 In the evening we watched Elementary. When Larry went to bed I watched the fifth episode of the eleventh season of The Brokenwood Mysteries on Acorn. Then I watched Ice Age: The Melt Down from our movies collection. I ended up doing 13,000 steps.

While watching television I finished my diamond painting. I started 5/9/25 and finished 5/19/25. It took me 11 days to complete it.
