A beautiful spring day |
We had a beautiful spring day. The sun was shining and the temperature was in the 70's.
We woke up and had breakfast. It was early and we only had to go 10 miles to our next destination so we decided we would catch up on some of the YouTube videos we follow. We watched them for a couple of hours and then had lunch.
After lunch we moved on to Chester Frost Park. Chester Frost Park is a big beautiful Hamilton County run park. It has 188 RV campsites with
power and water, there are also tent sites. The sites are located around the
Chickamauga Lake. There is a boat launch, boat docks, swimming
beach area, fishing piers, group picnic areas, an indoor pavilion,
restrooms, showers and playgrounds.
When we showed up they told us we had to make a reservation. They gave Larry a map and told him a few sites that were available. We drove around and picked a site, got online and made a reservation and then we walked back to the office and checked in. .
After checking in we walked around the park for about a half hour. When we finished our walk we went over and took a shower.

After dinner I walked around to get my steps. I ended up walking for almost an hour and went over my goal of steps. I walked around the campground, down to a picnic area and along the main road to the boat launch and beach area. I ended up walking 2.5 miles. It was a great walk. We spent the rest of the evening reading and enjoying the sound of the lake hitting its banks.
