Tuesday 11-18-25 Dancing to John, Puzzle and Games

We had a terrific Tuesday. It was another hot and humid day with the morning temperature of 71 degrees and the high of 85 degrees.

We spent the day at the Ski's house dancing to John Kephart. This week John Carlton and his wife Sharon came with John. We hadn't seen them in a very long time, John Carlton has been teaching a class and therefore hasn't been able to attend. I brought brownies to snack on. Kay baked a couple of mini cakes  to snack on.

We left the house at 10:15 to be at the Ski's house by 12:00 to dance C1 with Henry and Susan. We stopped on the way at a convenience store and had lunch in the car. We met up with Henry and Susan a little before 12:00 so we could quit when the A dancers start to show up. We danced C1 to Johnny Preston and Tony Collingwood for an hour via tapes. We had a super time.

At 1:00 we danced A2 for two hours. We had enough dancers for two squares and four extra dancers. John introduced the new dancers to a couple of moves, which were Scoot Chain Thru and Pass and Roll Your Neighbor. Larry and I sat out one tip. We had a great time dancing to John and with friends.

Before going to bed I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. Before going to the dance and after we got home I did the event, which was Event: Experts Only Mini of 5 games. It took me 2 hours, 39 minutes and 11 seconds, which put me in 24th place in my group. I played Angry Birds and Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I played four different games of pinball, which were Goldeneye, The Godfather, Big Buck Hunter Pro and Austin Powers. My high score in Austin Powers put me in 42nd place out of 46 participants. I did get a new high score while playing pinball but had fun.

While I played games Larry watched YouTube videos.

In the evening we watched the sixth movie of Transformers, which was Bumble Bee. It was about how Bumble Bee got his name and very good. Then I watched two animation movies from our collection of movies. They were Ralph Breaks the Internet and The Fox and the Hound. Ralph Breaks the Internet was about a friendship between two arcade characters Ralph and Vanellope who travel into the internet to find a part to save "Sugar Rush", which is the game Vanellope is from. I have watched The Fox and the Hound before and enjoyed it again. It was about a young fox and hound puppy, who played together while growing up and formed a friendship. Both movies were very cute. All three movies were from our collection. I ended up doing 3,000 steps.

Relaxing in front of the television

While watching television I worked on my jigsaw puzzle.
