Temperature at our house at 3:00 pm
We broke 100 degrees today. At the house it got to 102 degrees and according to our Amazon Show it got to 101 degrees. It was hot but we kept cool under the air conditioner.
Summertime is still here
I spent most of the day attending three virtual square dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 am for an hour. Di and Terry took turns calling five tips to nine participants. Di called a few full square moves, which were Spin-Chain-The Gears, Relay-The Duecey Coordinate. Di and terry did a super job of cueing the moves through out the dance. It's always a pleasure to dance to Di and Terry and with friends.
Second was Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 at 1:00 pm for an hour. This week Ett is attending a caller school in the Houston area so Di Green filled in for her. Di called five tips of C1 to fifteen participants and Terry danced with her. Larry danced four of the tips with me. Once again Di did an excellent job of calling and cueing the dance. When people had problems she would go over the move again. We had a great time.
Third was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 pm for an hour and a half. This week he called by himself because Karin and Greg were in Texas attending the calling school, that Ett is attending. He called three tips of C1 to five participants, three tips of A2 to five participants and two trivia questions. I got confused once in awhile because I didn't know if we were dancing a full square or two couples. He doesn't do a lot of cueing but if we have problems he did redo the sequence. Also Karin and Greg weren't there to pin because they usually dance through out the whole dance. I still had fun dancing to Dave and with friends.
Get a partner or dance alone with friends
Larry spent the day reading. When I danced he would go in the other room and read. He finished one book and started another one. He is enjoying his new e-reader.
Relax with a book
I played my Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Pyramid Adventure of 20 games. It took me 1 hour, 17 minutes and 38 seconds to complete, which put me in 17th place in my group. I played Angry Birds.
I played seven different games of pinball. They were JP Space Cadet, Time Lord, Dark Chaos, Iron Man, Jaws, The Addams Family and Ripley's Believe It or Not. I had a great day of pinball. I put my initials on the board as high score #2 in Space Cadet, high score #3 in Dark Chaos, high score #1 in Iron Man and high score #3 in Jaws. I was high score # 3 in Ripley's Believe It or Not but it wasn't as my highest score. Even though I didn't get on the board while playing The Addams Family and Time Lord I'm getting better everytime I play them. I had fun.

I continued working on the birdhouses jigsaw puzzle.
After Dave's dance we finished watching the second season of The Wheel of Time on Amazon. When Larry went to bed I watched Iron Man out of our movies selections. I ended up doing 2,000 steps.
