SAturday 11-15-25 Car Show, Goodwill & More

 

Happy Saturday to everyone

 

We had a hot day with a lot of sunshine and wind. The low was 68 degrees and it got up to 85 degrees.

We started the day off by going to a car show in Jarrell, Texas. It was about 25 miles from our house. The show was called Motor Mania Car Show. It was a one event from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. It was located at Jarrell Middle School. The event had a kids car show, baby crawling contest, kids tricycle races, face painting, refreshments and adult car show. The car show was very small, it took up one aisle of the parking lot on both sides. It took us about a half hour to walk around and look at the cars. We saw cars we haven't seen at other shows. Some of the cars were very nice. We enjoyed walked around and looking at the cars.

On the way home we stopped at Heart of Texas Goodwill in Belton. We haven't been there in a long time. We walked through the store and left without buying anything. It was busy, I guess because it was Saturday at 10:45.

Once at home we spent the rest of the day at the house. I played games and Larry did some research on Home Automation. 

I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Experts Only of 10 games. It took me 2 hours, 36 minutes and 34 seconds, which put me in 6th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds and Friends and Angry Birds 2. 

I played one game of Asteroid Outpost on Bounce Arcade for an hour. I earned a gold trophy, mined for asteroids nine times and was successful two time. I played two multiballs and earned an extra ball. I had a great game but didn't earn a new high score.

I played four different pinball games, which were Xenon, Medieval Madness, Cirqus Voltaire and World Joker Poker. While played Medieval Madness in entered my initials as high score #2. I didn't play well on the other ones.

 I worked on my jigsaw puzzle while watching television.

In the evening we watched the third Transformers movie called Transformers: Dark of the Moon. When Larry went to bed I watched the last Jesse Stone movie, which was Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise and Rango. Rango stars Johnny Depp as a chameleon who ends in a wild west town which needs a sheriff to fight to get their water back. It's a cute and funny animated movie. All three movies were from our collection of movies. I ended up doing 2,000 steps.
