Monday 8-12 Marvelous Monday

Marvelous Monday

Awhile back Larry built a shelf to hold the Stream Labs Control Leak Detector. He used hot glue to hold the shelf together, a few days ago he noticed that the shelf had come apart and the leak detector was hanging via the plumbing. He put a temporary support under it to release the weight on the plumbing. He rebuilt it today but rather than relying only on glue he screwed it together, he then had to repaint and reinstall it. While Larry worked on his project I read.

After lunch we went to the storage center to check the battery in the Minnie. Last Thursday Larry hooked the battery up to a trickle charger. The battery should have reached a full charge in about 24 hours but it is still not fully charged. When we bring the Minnie to the house we will have to replace the battery.

We also stopped at the UPS Store to pick up our mail. Larry had ordered me a couple of shirts and there was also a package from Larry's mom, Shirley.

New Western shirts for me

In less than two weeks were leaving on our fall trip, we will be gone about two months. Louise's birthday is Saturday, Larry and I will have birthdays while we are gone so we decided to celebrate all of the birthdays Saturday. Shirley sends gifts every year and she also ship delicious snacks. The goodies she shipped this year were fudge, crispy treats with butterscotch chips and peanut brittle. We snacked on them all afternoon.

In the evening we went to Sun City to attend the Sundancers weekly dance. We got there at 5:00 to dance plus with the class members. We had four squares. At 6:00 they had a Grand March where there were five squares and a few dancers sitting out. The dance schedule tonight was mainstream and plus. We had enough people for an A tip. We had a great time dancing to Brad and with friends. When we got home I watched an episode of Modern Miss Fisher. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

Get your partner and dance in a square
