| It's Christmas Time |
Louise is going to Tucson for Christmas so we decided to celebrate Christmas today. We had offered to bring the Christmas meal so this morning I made empanadas and dirty rice. Larry worked on our new computer. Louise called around 1:00 and said that she thought she had a leak in her bathroom so we left to go to Round Rock a little earlier than we planned. We got there around 2:30. Louise had made fudge, oatmeal chocolate drop cookies and she had chocolate candy for us to munch on until it was time for dinner. Larry checked out the leak and found out there really wasn't one. Then he setup her old computer, he had worked on it at the house. Both of her computers had some updates so they started the process. While this was going on I baked the empanadas and the dirty rice. After dinner we opened our Christmas gifts. We bought Louise an Amazon Echo Show so when we finished opening our gifts Larry set it up. The other computers were still downloading the updates. Louise's internet was so slow Larry called her provider and they found out that the network wasn't working correctly. They're going to send out a tech person tomorrow to look at it. Everything finally got finished with the downloads after a few hours. Larry got the Show setup and showed Louise how it worked. She was one excited woman, now she has an Alexa device for the kitchen. We had a super Christmas celebration with Louise and Alice. We would like to thank everyone for all the great gifts we received.
