Monday 12-3 Just having fun!

Fun Day

We started the day off by going to Belton to walk the hike and bike trail along Nolan Creek. We started at Yettie Polk Park and walked to Confederate Park where we turned around. We then walked all the way to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and turned left along Martin Luther King. We walked all the way to the loop and then turned around and went back to the car. As we walked we saw a group of mothers working out with a trainer. As they worked out the trainer entertained their children by making bubbles and telling the mothers what exercise to do.

Walking Nolan Creek Trail

On the way home we stopped by the UPS Store and picked up our mail. By the time we got home it was time for lunch.

During lunch Larry got an e-mail from the UPS Store and said they had a package waiting for us so back to town we went. We didn't go straight to the UPS Store, instead we went to the mall in Temple. Larry surprised me, he took me to the new Fantastic Beasts Movie, The Crimes of Grindelwald. We own the first Fantastic Beasts and like it a lot, we were excited about watching the new one. It wasn't a bad movie but we were disappointed because the ending was a cliffhanger and the story-line was darker then the first one.

Going to the movies

On the way home we stopped by the UPS Store. There were two packages and more mail waiting for us. One package was from Larry's Aunt Barbara, it was our Christmas gifts and some chocolate candy. The other package was a new fan for Louise's old computer.

For dinner I grilled the rest of the skewered potatoes and we had bacon wraps to go with them. The new season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is going to start on Amazon December 5 so we decided to watch the first season once again to refresh our memories. Afterwards I watched a couple of episodes of House and Doc Martin. We had a fun day.
