Wednesday 2-7 Starting Over

Smile and be happy

The day started in the 30's with drizzle and it didn't get out of the 40s.

The first thing we did was go back to the dentist to see about Larry's implant. The dentist thought if the implant was ok he would make an impression for the crown. He numbed Larry up and proceeded to see if the implant would come out or if it was set, well, it came out. The dentist discovered a a small crack in the the jaw bone.

Poor Larry, he has to start all over again. After the dentist removed the implant he had to place a bone graft in the hole and stitch up the gum. Next appointment is in a week to get the stitches removed. Then he has to wait at least four months to see if everything is heeled enough for the new implant. Then he has to await another few months to get the crown.

Back to the dentist

After leaving the dentist we went to Round Rock to visit Louise and Alice. A few days ago I talked about getting a new remote control for the television and Alexa can now control our television. We enjoy it so much that we thought Louise would like one so Larry ordered one for her. He had to program the controller to work with her television, dvd player and Roku. Louise's Roku and television are both old so it took a little longer to get the controller to work properly. Louise's dvd player had stopped working and she bought a new one so Larry had to install the new one before he could program the controller to work her dvd player. Once everything was working properly Larry told Louise how to use the new controller and how to get Alexa to work the television.

Larry had bought us a couple of pairs of no tie shoe laces and we like them a lot. He wanted to buy enough for all our shoes. He went on Amazon and found a great deal on buying three pairs. The vendor had black, white and some wild colors so he bought a couple of three packs. One pack had black, white and blue and the other pack had orange, pink and purple. While we were visiting Louise we showed her the shoe laces and let her decide on the colors she wanted. She chose purple and orange because they matched her shoes. Once she decided on the laces Larry put the shoe laces in her shoes and now she won't have to worry about her shoes coming untied any more.

Larry also worked on her computer. I played with Alice. We had a very nice visit with Louise and Alice.

When we got home it was about 7:00 so we spent the rest of the evening relaxing. I worked out for a half hour with Just Dance and got my steps in. Larry did a little reading. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
