Sunday 4-2 Getting Prepared for Rain

relaxing

Taking it easy

Yesterday, I gambled at the Gold Strike Casino and the Horseshoe Casino so this morning I decided to give Tunica Roadhouse Casino some money. I walked over to the casino to do a little gambling. The machines were not paying back very well and I lost a few dollars, I wasn’t the only one disappointed, a lady that sat next to me a couple of times said she needed to make a mental note not to come to Tunica Roadhouse on Sunday. Even though the machines weren’t paying well I still had fun.

When I got back Larry laughed, he didn’t think losing $6.00 was anything to worry about.  After lunch we headed down the road.

The weatherman was predicting rain so we decided it would be nice to camp overnight somewhere with power. Back in 2013 we were traveling around Arkansas (also in April) when rain was predicted for three days and in trying to find somewhere to wait out the rain we stumbled across the Hollywood Casino’s RV Park in Tunica, Mississippi. I liked the Hollywood Casino because there is another casino in the same parking lot called Resort and I can easily walk to either one and play the slots.

After checking in and setting the Minnie up Larry took Flo for a walk. When they returned Larry and I walked to check out Hollywood Casino and Resort Casino. I decided that I was going to stay at Hollywood and Larry decided to go back to the Minnie and read. I gambled for a couple of hours, by the time I got back Larry had finished another book.

It was too early to make dinner so I finished reading a book I had started a few days ago on the Kindle, it was a very good. After dinner I decided to go to the Resort Casino to see if I would have better luck. As I was leaving I told Larry I would call him when I was leaving if I needed him to meet me with the umbrella. While I was gambling it rained but when you’re in the casino you couldn’t hear it. I gambled for another two hours and had a little better luck. I called Larry to tell him I needed him to meet me with the umbrella.
