Thursday 2-9 Getting Ready for Visitors

Friends
We woke up to a chilly morning and it was cool all day. We started out the morning by going to town. We swung by the UPS Store and picked up our mail and a package we had waiting for us. Larry thought maybe the package was the solar panels he had ordered so he could finish another Minnie project but the package wasn't the panels, it was connectors he had ordered for the same project. We were close to the University of Mary Baylor-Hardin and the end of the Nolan Creek trail. We decided that we would walk the trail. We wore our jackets the whole time we walked. The ducks and geese were waiting for it to warm up a bit. They had their heads tucked under their wings and were laying on the grassy hill instead of swimming. We walked all the way to the beginning of the trail at Confederate Park and back to the university. We passed one other person on the trail. When we were coming back the ducks and geese were starting to move around and getting into the creek. We had a pleasant walk along Nolan Creek.

The Pecan Raisin Cinnamon Roll we shared
On the way back to the house we swung by Little Bohemian Bakery for a cinnamon roll. Today Larry bought a pecan raisin cinnamon roll. We shared the roll for our lunch dessert.

Doing Chores Around the House
Our friends Patrica and Larry Daniels were coming by at 5:15 to go with us to the A dance with the Sundancers so after lunch I needed to do a little house cleaning. I vacuumed, mopped the floors, did dishes and did laundry. While I was doing theses chores Larry worked outside. He blew off the porches and the garage, vacuumed the car and treated for weeds. After we finished our work I laid down for an hour and a half. Larry did a little reading and Flo sunned.

Our friends showed up and after visiting a bit we headed to Sun City. Everyone was very happy to see Patrica and Larry. We were shy one person for two squares. We all had a super time.
