12-5 Another Rainy Day

Louise, Shirley and Larry at Freddy's
The rain stayed in all day but not hard. Last night before I went to bed I took a loaf of bread out of the freezer to thaw out. This morning when I woke up the bread was ready to be baked. Once the oven was ready into the oven the bread went, a half hour later the bread was done. A little later I made a couple of dishes (gumbo with sausage and turkey and red beans and rice with sausage and turkey). At 10:00 Louise and Shirley returned to the house. We stayed around the house visiting and we watched YouTube videos on square dancing.

In the evening Shirley, Louise, Larry and I loaded into the car and went to Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) to see Nature in Lights. BLORA Nature in Lights is put on by Fort Hood and local businesses. It's a drive through adventure along Belton Lake for over five miles of Christmas lights displays. We go to the Nature in Lights every year and have a great time. On the way home we drove through a neighborhood where there was a house decorated with a lot of Christmas lights. Then we stopped by Freddy's for dessert. Freddy's has outstanding sundaes (Signature Turtle, PBC & B, Dirt 'n' Worms, Hawaiian Delight and Chocolate Brownie). Larry ordered 2 Hawaiian Delights and 1 Chocolate Brownie. Louise had the Chocolate Brownie sundae, Shirley had one of the Hawaiian sundaes and Larry and I shared the other one. After eating the sundaes we went back to the house. The rest of the evening we watched our RV Living YouTube videos and more square dancing videos. We had a very relaxing day.
