9-6 Terrific Tuesday

We had a terrific day. We needed to do a few errands so we loaded Flo into the car and headed to town. Yesterday Flo pestered us to do something but we didn't want to go anywhere so the first stop today was Rogers Park so she could go swimming. Flo has been limping the last few days so I didn't walk her too far. She really enjoys swimming but we're not sure how much longer we can continue taking her, she gets really tired and her back legs are getting weaker, the swimming is fine it is the short walk to and from the water that gives her so much problem. While there a fisherman said hi to us and two ladies and a girl paid attention to Flo. When it was time to go back to the car I asked Larry to help get her back to the car. By the time we were back to the car Flo was exhausted.

We have gutters on the house and every spring Larry has to get on the roof to clean the leaves and stuff out of them, he has been thinking about putting covers on them. Louise gave Larry a man card at The Home Depot for his birthday so we swung by to check the covers out. Thank you, Louise. There were a few different kinds (metal covers in brown, black or silver and plastic). Larry decided to buy a strip of two different covers (one has clips to hold it place and the other one just snaps in place). He will test them out and decide which one he likes then he will buy enough to cover all our gutters. The last stop was Harbor Freight. Larry has been playing with our irrigation system and he would like to have a way to check the water pressure at a specific head, he wants to build a device with a pressure gauge that will allow him to simply unscrew the head and temporarily replace it with the gauge. He bought a regulator from Harbor Freight on sale for $4.99 that he will remove the gauge from, he will use that along with another sprinkler piece to fabricate what he needs.

The black cover snaps in place and the silver cover has clips
Larry mowing the yards
After we had lunch Larry decided to mow the yards. I told him I would do it but he insisted on doing it. While he was mowing I weedeated and blew out the garage and off the porches. We switched jobs this week. We worked outside for a hour and a half.

Still working on Tropical Paradise Puzzle
Watching Television
In the evening we watched YouTube videos and a documentary called Robert Plant-Robert Plant Blue Note. This documentary was about Robert Plant's music and how Blues music has influenced him. It was a good documentary. I worked on my puzzle, played computer games and worked on my annual adventure book. We had a terrific Tuesday.
