7-19 Odds and Ends

We stayed around the house and didn't do much today. Larry has been keeping an eye on the yards and noticed there were a couple of  areas in the back were the grass was turning brown. He has been working on getting the front sprinkler system where he is happy with it for awhile. First he installed another sprinkler head in the yard where it wasn't getting enough water, then he replaced the sprinkler heads with rotating heads. Then he worked on the side of the house, he dug up and raised each head to the proper height, then he also replaced these heads with rotating heads. He now has the front and side sprinklers working very well. Today Larry started the day off by readjusting the sprinkler heads in the backyard. Once the heads were adjusted he placed bowls around the yard and ran the irrigation system. When the cycle was finished he measured how much water was in the bowls. He found out that for the most part the irrigation system was now watering evenly, one of the areas where the grass was turning brown is still not getting quite as much water as the rest of the lawn so he is thinking about how to correct this. He worked on the yard all morning. In the afternoon Larry finished reading Innocent, now I'll have to get the first book in the Vanessa Michael Munroe series. I played computer games and worked on my puzzle. I did a little housework and then I worked out for a half hour with the Just Dance program and 15 minutes with the Wii Fit program. After dinner we watched our Sunday shows Dancing on the Edge and Tunnel. The third program we usually watch is Endeavor but the season ended last week. They replaced Endeavor with Inspector Lewis. It started Sunday but it was the seventh season and we have already watched it a couple of times so we passed on watching it again. Then I worked on my puzzle and played computer games. We had another relaxing afternoon and evening.
