Pear & Blue Cheese Flatbread Pizza

Summer is definitely here, we are seeing little to no rain and the temperatures have been in the mid to high 90's with a few days hitting 100 at our house. It still hasn't officially gotten to 100. When it gets in the high 90's it's hot. While we were around the house Larry finished reading another book, he read Remember Ben Clayton written by Stephen Harrigan. He said it was a good book, I guess I will read it next. I worked on my puzzle all day. For dinner I decided to bake the Pear & Blue Cheese Flatbread Pizza that we bought the other day. It was ok but we probably wouldn't buy it again. I personally thought the blue cheese was a little too strong but the pears were very nice. In the evening we went to Georgetown to dance with The Shirts 'n' Skirts for their Ice Cream Social Dance. Their caller Jim Hayes is back from vacation so he called the dance. Jerry and Lucy Pate did rounds in between the square dancing tips. There were eight mainstream squares and five plus squares. They had a lot of ice cream, to keep it hard they had put it back in the freezer. Stephanie took us to the kitchen area and dished out some ice cream for us. She said if we wanted more we were more than welcome to get some more. After the second tip they brought the ice cream back out and served the dancers more ice cream. They also had cookies, fudge, brownies and toppings for the ice cream. We had a super time dancing with friends. LIFE IS GOOD.
